Additional Terms
Deposits, Rescheduling, and Credits:
These are not transferable to future seasons.
COVID-19 Cancellations or Rescheduling:
Proof of a COVID-related reason for cancellation or rescheduling is required.
If approved, a full refund will be issued, or a no-fee rescheduling will be allowed for available classes during the same season.
Instructor and Class Availability:
SPSC will make every effort to place you in another class but cannot guarantee instructor or course availability. We strongly recommend attending your originally scheduled class, as classes fill quickly, and our season is short.
Cancellations by Voyager.
Weather or Instructor Illness:
In rare cases, Voyager may partially or fully cancel a class due to weather conditions deemed unsafe or detrimental to the curriculum (e.g., strong winds, heavy fog, torrential rain) or the unforeseen illness of an instructor with no backup available.
In such cases, rescheduling will be offered at no additional cost.
Refunds for canceled portions of the course will be provided to those unable to reschedule.
Weather Determinations:
Voyager and its instructors determine weather-related decisions, which are typically made hour by hour during your course.
Be prepared to sail in a variety of weather conditions, as long as it is safe and conducive to teaching. (Ensure you have proper foul-weather gear if rain is expected.)
Course Adjustments Due to Weather or Situations
Classes will proceed as much as conditions permit.
Refunds or rescheduling will depend on the extent to which the course was impacted.
Voyager aims to provide solutions that maintain our high standards of customer satisfaction.
